Description:
AKA as the Vietnam Forest Scorpion it is indigenous to the tropical forests of Vietnam, where it thrives in humid and shaded environments. These scorpions can be found under logs, rocks and debris in their natural habitat. Their main diet is small insects.
Although not typically lethal to humans, it’s venom can cause severe pain and swelling. These scorpions tend to be skittish and defensive, using their large pedipalps (pincers) to attack, more so than with their tails.
